  • Barry Collymore | Founder & Director

    Barry John de Courcey Collymore is a Director and Partner of West Indies Management Company, a company involved in hotel and tourism development in Grenada. He is also a Director of the Savvy Grenada group, the company which built, owned and managed Grenada’s largest marina development, Port Louis, and Mount Cinnamon hotel. He recently co-founded the West Indies School of Hospitality in Collaboration with Cornell University.

    Barry is Chairman of the Grenada Tourism Authority and his aim is to restart and reposition Grenada’s tourism. He believes a safe reopening can lead to unprecedented benefits to Grenada in a Post Covid market.

    Barry has served as CEO of Grenreal Property Corporation, a publicly traded company, which manages the cruise ship facilities in Grenada.

    Barry has worked in a lead development role on several large projects in Grenada including:

    1. Building and development of the Port Louis Marina and marina facilities

    2. The development and building of Mount Cinnamon Hotel

    3. The building and development of the Royalton Grenada, Grenada’s largest hotel

    4. The restructuring of the Cruise Ship Mall and terminal

    5. The Establishment of the Shell Cricket Academy at St. George’s University. The first ever Cricket Academy for the West Indies Cricket Team

    6. Establishment of the West Indies School of Hospitality

    Barry has served as Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister of Grenada and as Press Secretary. Barry has also worked as Assistant and Advisor to the Vice Chancellor of St. George’s University and Assistant Professor at St. George’s University School of Business.

    Barry has a master’s degree in Business, from Loughborough University in the UK, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from UWI Mona.

    Barry loves films, and has Directed and Produced a film called Footprints, featuring Grenada’s road to Olympic victory and Produced Forward Ever a documentary telling the story of Grenada's Revolution. He is a fitness and healthy lifestyles promoter and his hobbies include CrossFit, tennis, filmmaking, boxing and beekeeping. Barry is the proud father of twelve year old Zachary.

  • Danny Fakhre | Founder & Director

    Danny John Fakhre (DJF) is a Grenadian businessman with substantial business interests all around the world. He has a passion for agriculture and the environment and has a strong belief that Grenada will be a Caribbean leader in tourism, and sustainable agriculture. DJF is the Chairman and CEO of the Fares Group of Companies which are worldwide traders and transporters of livestock. DJF has spent over thirty-five years in the industry, commencing in Australia which is a major supplier on the procurement side of the business.

    DJF was later based in Cairo from 1983 until 1990 to develop the Egyptian market. During this time the company became by far the largest supplier of livestock to Egypt (above 80% of Egypt's total imports).

    DJF changed the focus of operations from the mainly long- haul sheep trade to the more lucrative cattle trade. These moves positioned the group to take advantage of the growing cattle markets of the Middle East, North Africa, South East Asia and Mexico and made it into the largest exporter/transporter of live cattle in the world.

    Later, Danny established a Cyprus based company, Sokhna Fares Limited, for the efficient integration of all the Company’s activities in livestock long haul trade and transport.

    DJF owns a forestry products company in Australia called Carbon Gold Group Pty Ltd (CGG) CGG is headquartered in Perth with Operations in the wheat belt mainly at Kalannie in regional Western Australia.

    In 2020 DJF and his business partner Barry Collymore began discussing ideas for improving the quality of tourism in Grenada and the Caribbean. The result was the formation of the West Indies School of Hospitality in Collaboration with E-Cornell. DJF believes that WISH, can be the catalyst which leads to a repositioning of Grenada and the Caribbean on the global tourism market. DJF has also brought on his long time friend Naguib Sawiris on the Board of WISH. DJF and Naguib have significant hotel investment in Grenada and WISH will be the training institute where the staff development will take place.

  • Nikki Noel | Chief Operating Officer

    Niquana Noel is a proven Grenadian entrepreneurial executive with over 15 years of experience and expertise in operations, finance and accounting, staffing, marketing, corporate governance, SEC reporting and compliance. Noel has spent nearly two decades working with privately held and publicly traded micro and small cap companies.

    A key member of the leadership team at a public company, Noel was actively engaged in the pioneering of electronic solutions for consumers from 2008 through 2018. There she rose through the ranks to serve as Chief Operating Officer and a director on the Board before ascending to the role of President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairwoman of the Board.

    
Most recently, Noel had served as Chief Operations Officer and Director of a public fintech company that created a new financial payment system powered by Distributed Ledger Technology where gold can be used as money in everyday transactions as easily as fiat currencies. 

    
Early in Noel’s career she oversaw the daily operations of various business portfolios which included the design and implementation of business strategies, evaluating performance metrics, accounting oversight and participating in growth and expansion activities. Since then, she has also been integral in the development of several startups from concept creation to full execution.

    Nikki left Grenada at 16 years old to study Business Management at Florida International University. Even though most of her career work has been outside of Grenada she has always stayed connected to the island. Ms. Noel has invested in several local businesses and provides mentorship and training to the operators of these mostly startups.  She is the Co-founder of Solutions Grenada, a company which is aimed at providing methods to improve the operation of business in Grenada and encouraging and promoting entrepreneurship. It is through the Solutions Grenada Company that the idea for WISH was born. Nikki and WISH Founder Barry Collymore worked for years on making WISH a reality.

    Nikki loves the art of negotiating, travel, interior design, the beach and all things beautiful. She is an avid do it yourselfer and crafter, who loves up and recycle. She is a professional eater but unprofessional chef that has a love for all food and the dining experience.
